Donations

Donations are made to The Maloma Foundation NPC (Reg. no. 2026/199453/08) and are used for the programme you select, or, if you choose "Where it is needed most", at the Foundation's discretion across its four programme areas. Donations are voluntary gifts and are not refundable, except where a payment was made in error — email us within 7 days and we will reverse it.

Monthly gifts are billed by PayFast on the same day each month until you cancel. Cancel any time by emailing info@themalomafoundation.co.za with your reference, or through the PayFast link in your receipt.

Payments are processed by PayFast (Pty) Ltd. We never see or store your card details.

Tax certificates

Section 18A certificates can only be issued once SARS Public Benefit Organisation approval is granted. We will state this clearly on the site and on receipts as soon as that is in place.

Privacy (POPIA)

We collect your name, email address and, if given, cellphone number only to process and receipt your donation, answer your message and, if you opt in, send quarterly updates. Your information is stored securely on our own server in South Africa, is never sold, and is shared only with PayFast to process payment. Supporters who do not tick "anonymous" are shown on the site by first name and initial only. You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time by emailing info@themalomafoundation.co.za. Every mailing includes an unsubscribe link.
